Yes, it's true! AlundraRPG is in the planning stages! After a few months off from GMing (and a distinct amount of withdrawal from IoG2 during its hiatus), not to mention some taunting from certain regulars in #rpgcafe, I've decided to start putting up information about AlundraRPG! The webpage comes first, and I'll be adding docs as they are completed. If you want to know anything else that isn't here yet, you're welcome to come find me on IRC and ask, but be warned—there's a lot I simply haven't decided yet, and also some things I don't plan on revealing! Feel free to ponder possible characters though while you wait, and I'll begin accepting character apps when the character creation docs are finished.
February 17, 2006 Finally, an update! Well, after a long hiatus because of personal issues, I'm finally getting busy on AlundraRPG again. In this update you can find some new information on the Game Info page, as well as massive updates on How to Join as far as character creation and game system info! Go check it out — yes, the character creation and app submission process is OPEN!
September 15, 2005—
The World and Culture page has been updated for a third time! The page is now finished, with descriptions of Cerredy and Lor'ash, and also, of greatest importance, a Current Events section that tells of recent events between the kingdoms and the troubles that begin our story. The Game Info page is also finished, at least for now, with information on magic, religion, technology, races, and professions, as well as a little bit of system info on tools, spells, and equipment. More will be forthcoming once the system is finished, which we are working on. Next up: NPCs to go on the character page, and character creation info under "how to join."
September 15, 2005—
The World and Culture page has been updated again! This time you'll find descriptions of all the major regions, cities, and geographical features of the kingdom of Silverland. This may give you an opportunity to start pondering where your character might be from. I'll be updating again soon with information on the neighboring kingdoms of Lor'ash and Cerredy.
September 13, 2005—
I've written up the summary of Alundra, which can be found in the Story and Background section. You can also find a complete map (woohoo!) of the region where our story will take place on the World and Culture page. I'm working on getting descriptions of the kingdoms and their major cities and features up. It's only partially done now, but the framework is there, at least, and you can look at the map for now and read the explanations later. At least now we know where our story will begin: the kingdom of Silverland.
